Welcome to another author update.
I can now announce that I’m one of the gay writers who are collaborating on the second series of Haunted Hearts novels. Last year, a group of queer male authors released the first series, one by one, leading up to Halloween. You can find them HERE.
Last year’s books centred around a ghost. This year, these urban fantasy MM Romance novels all feature a wizard. I’ve mentioned this in a previous blog, talking about the fact that this is my first self-published novel which has a very tight deadline.
My contribution is a comedy titled Grayson’s Magical Mishaps. The cover art has been done and my fairly well developed initial draft will be ready for my beta reader next month. This wacky story has been a lot of fun to write. Its release date is Oct 28 (UK/US) / Oct 29 (Aus/NZ) but it will also be available to pre-order. I’ll keep you informed.
I had the pleasure of being interviewed by poet, Peter Okonkwo from P.English Literature. We chat about how I fictionalise my real life in my stories, about being criticised for non-existent sex scenes, and how I’m often categorised as a Romance writer even though most of my books are not that genre.
